Who is responsible for your data

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is running on this site. It records aggregate usage such as pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device type and referring source, using cookies set by Google.

It is used to understand which pages are read and which are ignored. It is not used to identify individuals. No advertising audiences are built from it.

You can prevent it entirely with a browser level blocker or by declining cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without it.

The enquiry form

The form on the contact page collects your name, email address, and optionally your website address and sector, plus whatever you write in the message.

It is processed by StaticForms, a third party form handling service, which forwards the submission to me by email. The lawful basis is legitimate interest, specifically replying to a business enquiry you chose to send.

Enquiries are kept in email for as long as there is a live conversation or a live client relationship. They are deleted on request at any point.

Fonts and hosting

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request including your IP address in order to serve the font files.

The site is served as static files. There is no login, no user account, no comment system and no advertising network on this site.

Your rights under UK GDPR

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of any personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@seowigan.uk and it will be actioned within one month.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.

No personal data collected through this site is sold. None is shared with anyone beyond the processors named above.
