Who runs SEO Wigan
SEO Wigan is a trading identity of ND Media LTD, company number 10784524. The registered office is 17 Gainsborough Road, Reading, RG30 3DB, United Kingdom.
That address is a registered office, not a Wigan branch. No Wigan office exists to visit. Every other agency site with a local name and a local address is worth checking on that same point.
The work is delivered remotely. For search work that is not a compromise, because the job consists of research, page changes and measurement, none of which improve by being done twenty miles closer to you.

One person
The person who scopes the work is the person who does it. There is no account manager layer and no junior executing a plan they were handed.
The obvious trade off is capacity. I can hold a small number of retainers at once. When that is full I will say so rather than take the money and stretch.
Why Wigan
Wigan has a real productive economy: manufacturing and engineering, food processing, warehousing and distribution on the motorway corridor, and a dense base of trades and home service firms. Those are businesses with something concrete to sell.
They are also the businesses least well served by search agencies, because the money in this industry chases ecommerce and software. A capable engineering firm with an unfindable website is a more interesting problem than another shop.
About the design of this site
Wigan Casino made the town central to Northern Soul, a scene built on rare records, catalogue numbers and serious collecting. This site is laid out as a seven inch single as a straightforward nod to that.
That is the entire extent of the reference. The scene belongs to the people who built it. It is not a marketing theme.

Common questions
Why is a site called SEO Wigan registered in Reading?
Because that is where the company is registered and pretending otherwise would be the first dishonest thing on the site. The work is delivered remotely, which is how nearly all SEO is delivered regardless of what an agency's contact page implies.
Is there a team behind this?
No. One person does the research, the fixes, the writing and the reporting, and that is the whole operation. It caps how many clients I can take, which is a real constraint rather than a positioning line.
Why are there no client names or testimonials on the site?
Because I will not publish a client's name or words without their explicit permission, and collecting that properly takes time. Until then the proof shown is from my own portfolio sites, anonymised by sector, with the pull date attached.
What sectors do you actually understand?
Small manufacturers, food producers, logistics operators, trades and professional service firms. If you are outside that and I do not think I can do a good job, I will say so rather than take the work.
